raghavaraju is a landowner and farmer in the village of atreyapuram in Andhra Pradesh.He lives with his wife Janakamma and his son-in-law Bangararaju and his wife and son-in-law Raju.raghavaraju lives in a traditional house built to live as a joint family formed by their ancestors a generation ago.They have lived happily in this house for generations.In time, however, ragahvaraju's two sons, Ravi and Kalyan Sa's daughters jhansi, left the country to live in the United States, Canada and Australia.After a long period of 10 years, all his children return to the village during the makara sankranti festival.This is because raghavaraju receives several emails from the children stating that he is going to divorce his wife Janakamma.Nithya or anupama parameswaran is the 21 year old daughter of jhansi.
