Story.

The story of Kadaikutty Singam 2018 revolves around Perunai Gunasingham, a wealthy modern-day farmer, and his family living under his father, Perunai Ranasingham.30 years ago.Perunai Ranasingham is worried that he and his wife will not have to give birth to a son to continue their family heritage as they will always have daughters. He then goes in search of a new bride to remarry. Meanwhile, Perunai Ranasingham's wife Vanavan marries her sister Panchavan Madevi to her husband. However, Ranasingham's disappointing second wife Panchavan Madhavi also gives birth to a baby girl. Eight years later, the first wife of Perunai Ranasingham, also known as Vanavan Madevi, gave birth to a son.They name him Perunai Gunasingham.After 27 years, Gunasingham is enjoying his life as a wealthy farmer. But all of a sudden the unity of this family is shattered due to a love affair with a young girl named Gunasingham Kannukiniyal. Here Gunasingham's cousin forces him to marry one of his sisters' daughters who is hoping to marry him. This is done to retain the property of their family among themselves and to maintain the unity of the family.
