Story

The story of the film begins with a scene in which the villagers of Kalathur are attacked and killed during a clash between the villagers and the police. This incident has taken place due to the order received by the police to curb the illegal activities taking place in Kalathur village. A large number of villagers living in Kalathur do not have any jobs and have become known as thieves, robbers, and persecutors. Due to this, their village is isolated from other villages and even the police are not allowed to enter the village. They go so far as to attack the police officers who enter the village and eventually kill them. Many villagers are tempted to do this because of the corruption and the thuggery of the police. Although the villagers later abandoned their criminal activities, the police continued to persecute the villagers, and all the villagers appointed Kidathiraka as the village head and began to take action against the police. One day, police officers break into a wedding party in the village, harass the crowd and try to rape the bride. Kidathiraka and the villagers together attacked the police officers and killed one of them. After this, the villagers ban any police officer from entering their village. An incident during this time leads to a confrontation between Kidathiraka and his closest friend. Their group then splits into two factions, which later turn into a long-running feud between the two factions.
