Annanukku Jai 2018 is an Indian Tamil language film that is divided into satirical and satirical as well as dramatic genres about politics. The film is directed by Rajkumar and produced by Fox Star Studios and Grass Root Film Company. The film's screenplay, as well as dialogues and story, are written by director Rajkumar himself and the production cost of the film is borne by five award-winning film directors, screenwriters, and producer Vetrimaaran.

The film is directed by Vishnu Rangasamy and edited by G.B.Venkatesh and Jomin and Babu Narreshkumar. The music director of Annanukku Jai 2018 is Arrol Corelli. The 113-minute film was released to the public on August 31, 2018, through Fox Star Studios.

In late December 2014, Dhanush alias Venkatesh Prabhu Kasthuri Raja announced that he would be making a film titled Annanukku Jai starring Dinesh and co-starring with Vetrimaran.

Later that month, Mahima Nambiar joined the cast to play the lead role in the film. However, the producers abandoned the film and postponed it until 2015.

The film finally resumed work in February 2016, when it was released in India on August 31, 2018. Most of the reviews for the film were positive and the satellite broadcasting rights for the film were acquired by Star Wije. Throughout the film, there is some talk of politics, poverty, and corruption, and the film is a massive attack on politics. However, the IMDB rating for the film is 5.8, with Google rating at 90%.

Dinesh Ravi, who became very popular in cinema through the film Attakathi (2012), will play the role of Matta Sekar in the film. In this film, he portrays a poor young man working in a toddy bar who unfortunately enters politics and makes a big difference. Mahima Nambiar, who plays the role of Sundari in the film, is an actress as well as a model who often contributes to Malayalam films.

Madras Rajagopalan Radhakrishnan Ravi, an Indian politician, and actor, plays the role of Parasuraman in this film. Mayilswamy, who is a comedian in the film industry, plays the role of Murugesan in this film. Vaiyapuri, who was very popular in the 1990s and 2000s and also played the lead role in films, plays the supporting role of Narayanan in the film.

Sriranjini, who became very popular through the films Alaipayuthey (2000), Anniyan (2005), and Mozhi (2007), plays the role of Parasuraman's wife in this film. Anjali Rao, who became famous through the films Vanmam (2014) and Baby (2015), plays the role of Veni in these films.

Ramachandran Durairaj who played the lead role in Naan Mahaan Alla (2010) will also play a role in this film. Sai Dheena, who became very popular through the films Attu (2017), Thimiru Pudichavan (2018), and Vaandu (2019), has been contributing to the film industry since 2004 and will play the role of Selva in this film.

Radha plays the role of Sekar's mother in this film, Hari Krishnan plays the role of Anaconda in this film, Supergood Subramani plays the role of Subba Rao in this film and Balambika plays the role of Sundari's mother in this film.

Vijayamuthu plays Selva's disciple in the film, Tiger Garden Thangadurai as Guna in the film, and Pangu as Vijayamuthu in the film. Meeran Mitheen will play the role of Damodaran in Annanukku Jai 2018, Pattabi as Pattabi, Munnar Ramesh, and Dhanasekar as well as other TSR characters.

Annanukku Jey (2018) Review & Story

The story of Annanukku Jai 2018 is based on a young man named Matta Shaker. He always spends time playing with friends and does not care much about life. So Matt Shaker's life as a day laborer under his father in a toddy bar does not go as smoothly.

He climbs palm trees and works as a toddler, often roaming the village. Also, even though the bar belongs to his father, he does not have much prominence in the bar and is seen as a person who is not taken care of by anyone.

He also has a girlfriend, who is more educated than Shaker, and Shaker has no access to higher education. But at one point, his life is transformed by a clash between his father and a politician, who eventually asks him to go to the house of a local political leader and give him a chance to enter politics.

Shaker is requesting the party of the leader of that political party to nominate him for the forthcoming election. Here the political leader refuses to give Shaker nominations citing various reasons.

But in the end, after a clash in the village, Shaker became very famous and later the leader of the political party offered to re-nominate Shaker from his party and help him with the election.

But he is doing this with some ulterior motive and the leader of the opposition political party is constantly at loggerheads with Shaker and trying to create problems between them. Eventually, after various setbacks in his political career, Shaker realizes the true motive of the politician who helped him and realizes that he has become hostile under the guise of helping him.

The film Annanukku Jai 2018 tells the story of Shaker's political career as he continues his political career by launching various tactics to escape the confrontation between him and Shaker as well as the rivalry between the politicians and Shaker.
