Srinivasa Kalyanam (2018) Review & Story

The story of Srinivasa Kalyanam revolves around Srinivas or Vasu, an architect working in Chandigarh. He is a traditional Hindu man who believes that a wedding is the greatest celebration of his life and that it is not just another celebration but a beautiful moment. 

He has work duties and for some reason lives away from his family. His cousin Padmavathi or Paddu falls in love with him and on the day of his return home he decides to propose marriage to her, expressing his love for her. But in the meantime, Vasu meets the beautiful Shree, who has a small job to live in Chandigarh, and later they fall in love with each other at their friend Priya's wedding. 

She is the daughter of a wealthy businessman and a few months before handing over her business to the general public to gain experience in the community. Following the advice of her father, she learns about people trying to get used to a difficult life. 

Her father believes that marriage is just another celebration in life and is portrayed in the film as a person who does not give much priority to it. Meanwhile, Vasu tells Sri's father RK that he loves Sri and wants her to marry him. Meanwhile, Paddu's hopes to express his love to Vasu are dashed and his parents' consent is obtained to marry Vasu and Sri. 

However, before the marriage takes place, RK proposes to enter into a pre-marriage agreement, subject to certain conditions. Vasu and the others agree and ask him to fulfill all the duties of the bride's father at the wedding. However, on the day of the couple's wedding, Sri's sister finds the agreement between RK and Vasu, another poet, and Paddu expresses his love for Vasu.
