They decide to reside at Priya's childhood home in the hills, but from their first day there, Priya becomes suspicious of the contractors who work on her family's land, and the villagers and neighbors who often ogle at her.

During their wedding anniversary, Priya spots a shadowy figure staring at them from the window, but when she wakes Abin, the figure disappears. The next day, when Priya is about to take a bath, she sees a man staring at her through the window. She screams, and Abin spots a worker in the upper terrain. Priya constantly warns Abin that the people around them are not like those in Bangalore or Dubai, and they should be more careful.

Things take a dark turn when Abin has to meet with a designer for their startup, and Priya is left alone at home. She promises to go to the convent after Abin leaves and locks the door before going to the convent library on her scooty.
