Thaandavam (transl. Dance) is a Tamil-language neo-noir action thriller directed and written by A. L. Vijay. Featuring an ensemble cast led by Vikram in a dual role alongside Jagapati Babu, Anushka Shetty, Amy Jackson, and Lakshmi Rai, the film explores themes of vengeance, justice, and personal loss. Produced by UTV Motion Pictures, the movie was released worldwide on September 28, 2012.

Set against the backdrop of London, the plot unravels through Shiva, a blind RAW officer employing human echolocation to seek revenge for the death of his wife, Meenakshi, and his friend Kenny. The storyline intricately ties espionage, betrayal, and personal vendetta, as Shiva transforms into "Kenny Thomas" to infiltrate the network of conspirators. With the support of Geetha and other allies, Shiva takes down those responsible for the devastating bomb blast and his tragic losses.

Vikram’s portrayal of a blind man mastering echolocation adds depth to the character, earning praise for its authenticity. The film's music, composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar, enhances the gripping narrative. Nirav Shah’s cinematography and the action sequences shot in London elevate the visual appeal.
